The 20th Annual UNCF Charlotte Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Luncheon is a signature fundraising event named in honor of our beloved friend and volunteer, Dr. Maya Angleou. We are excited about the return of hosting the celebration and fundraiser in person for 2022. Join us to commemorate the 20th anniversary with shopping, mimosas, music, and red carpet photos.
During the Luncheon, women who are leaders and who have brought positive recognition locally, statewide, and nationally will receive the distinguished Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Award. With a focus on raising awareness of the need and benefits of higher education, funds raised will support students UNCF serves across North Carolina, and highlight the contributions of historically Black colleges and universities.
