Location
Uptown
The Mint Museum Uptown is one of the most iconic venues in Uptown Charlotte for hosting unique events. Our major event spaces include a stunning atrium with five story large glass panels, a top floor ballroom that includes an over sized terrace with sweeping views of the city, and an industrial space that can hold up to 500 guests.

We are pleased to say our new $60 annual membership allows us into over 50 museums in the South. Looking forward to finding them all. The Mint was really enjoyable and truly worth it. A one time entry is $15 per person ( may seem a bit high if you don't get to come back). But the $60/year (includes 2 people) is a great deal if you search out the many other museums included. Photos of the art installations are understandably not allowed, so we can't attach any. Their gift shop is free to all, regardless of a paid museum visit. It's well worth a trip and return trips. Great variety of gifts.

The 2nd floor was great. Expressionism, Classicism, Surrealism, and Post-Impressionism are more of my taste. I am not a fan of Andy W, couldnt careless about MM in different shades. I was really hoping to see some more local artists or southern life style art.

Wonderful selection of North Carolina pottery. Amy Grigg, store director is incredibly knowledgeable of NC talent and resources. Its my go-to for unique wedding gifts or any special occasion. Staff makes shipping easy and convenient.

I really enjoyed the exhibits. There is a very diverse selection of artistic expressions to enjoy. My visit was considerably dampened by the Museum's insistence upon the wearing of the Mask of Compliance. Otherwise, an enjoyable experience.

Lot of great art in a perfect little area! Went when it wasn't to busy and got to spend a lot of time looking around. In a cramped part of the city though try to find parking before you go.
