I've been working with Sunway Charters for years and would highly recommend them to anyone! They are always so pleasant to work with, particularly Phyllis who is always so prompt to respond and to help with our trip scheduling. We also have always had the best drivers! They are so friendly - especially Shameeka and Garland. Whether you need to hire them for just the day or for a longer booking, I truly hope that you'll check them out.

We purchased a ticket round trip ticket for our daughter to return home to Charlotte from Boone. The bus never showed up. No notification or attempt to communicate with the customers waiting for the bus. I reached out to Sunway and was extremely disappointed with Customer Service and the poor excuse of why the bus didnt show up. In addition the customer service agent hung up on me. No refund has been issued. We can not give this company any respect or recommend this company to our enemies. Disgusting!

We hired Sunway for our wedding this past weekend in Asheville, NC they provided us with a smaller 36 passenger charter bus for our wedding party and two larger charter buses for our wedding guests to get to and from the wedding venue. We cannot express how thankful we were to find Sunway and work with them for our event. We had previously contracted another local transportation company who failed to book our date due to outdated invoicing procedures (and then blamed it on us! 1 month away from the wedding!!), Phyllis from Sunway was a lifesaver and was beyond enjoyable to work with. She was on top of things, emailed us our information the same day as I called to inquire and our bus drivers were pleasant and professional! The buses were clean and on-time and we could not recommend them enough to anyone getting married in the NC region and specifically Asheville (which only has a couple of local options for large parties). I contacted Sunway Charters Charlotte to help us with a surprise hiring event for 30 people with disabilities. From my very first conversation with Phyllis, they were very accommodating and willing to help us plan the perfect event, using one of their Trollies. During the day/ time of our event, there were several dangerous storms moving through our area. If it had not been for the flexibility of Sunway Charters Charlotte, our event was in jeopardy of being cancelled. I was so worried that we would not be able to go through with our event that evening but Sunway assured me that they were available and willing to wait out the storms so long as necessary. The driver, Les, was an absolute saint. He waited on the trolley with our employees with disabilities until the thunder and lightning passed. He was extremely kind, flexible and patient throughout the entire time. We cannot thank Sunway enough for their amazing service! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for transportation for an event or outing. Top notch customer service!

They blocked the roadway heading to our hotel by parking three charter buses right on the road. There was a semi truck on the other side of the road that was parked prior to the busses arrival and these geniuses came in and blocked the remainder of the road.

Garland was our tour bus driver and he made the trip enjoyable. Unlike some of the harsher Greyhound drivers he was very polite and pleasurable. He picked me up on time and drove with the upmost care. Very satisfied with Suntours and really think that drivers such as Garland set a new standard that other bus companies just cant quite compete with. Thanks captain Garland for the safe and profedsional ride home!

Sunway has been super for our two-day tour program in Charlotte, NC. Ive been working with s driver Margitte Speller who could not be nicer and a GREAT driver negotiating tricky spots we visited in neighborhoods that may never have seen a bus before with a specialized group tour of architects and designers visiting private homes. I usually travel to Charlotte, and its always bus driver Garland and hes chill. I recognize him because of the many times I take this route. I like that he doesnt yell orders to the passengers this one time I was trying to find a bus close to Greenville and that other driver was mean lol. Im shy so being able to relax on my trip with earbuds listening to music or talking with friends is nice. :)

I feel that the ride was very pleasant. Very smooth. The bus was super super clean, smell very fresh and the bus driver was extremely friendly and very kind and courteous and really fun to converse with. I really enjoy a ride indeed you can tell hes had experience with Customer Service and dealing with people (GARLAND R)

I just got off the bus coming from Charlotte to Gastonia, North Carolina from your bus line and the driver was outstanding. He was a gentleman he was courteous. He helped me with my bag and so I really do appreciate setting the tone for this up-and-coming holiday. His name is Garland And thats all I know his name is but thank you very much.
