Home of the Charlotte Knights Baseball team, BB&T Ballpark is the Uptown venue of choice with the best view of the Queen City skyline and various venue spaces to accommodate group sizes between 10 to 10,000.
Recently visited this stadium for a team outing, and it's a fun place. The proximity of the city lights to the field is a nice touch. There was a Christmas lights event going on, which lit up the stadium beautifully. Some activities like snow tubing and ice skating are available for additional charge. Parking is expensive nearby, but there are several parking garages that cost $10 for almost a day and are only 0.5 mile away.
Great experience at Truist field, watching the Charlotte Knights. I was at the picnic area to start. Had some decent chili hot dogs with coleslaw and chocolate chunk cookies. Then I made my way to visitors dugout side for a better view of the game with an excellent Charlotte skyline backdrop. The view became more beautiful as it got later and the sun fully set.
You must go to the Light the Knights Festival before it ends Jan. 6th! Tickets are $10 for regular admission, Ice Skating is $25, Snow tubing is $25 (regular admission included), or all inclusive for $35. The snow slope has 6 lanes and is perfect for little kids. The entire place is decked out with Christmas decor and has multiple vendors. The entire experience is great for all ages. You can find $10 parking across the street.
One of my favorite Triple A ballparks! The staff was amazing as we made it early for the game and they gave us their commemorative Queen City baseballs! We had an amazing experience here and would definitely catch another game!
My daughter came into town and shes a baseball nut. I don't make a ton but for $27 field seats I could pass it up. The food was actually not too expensive for a ballpark, and we had an absolute BLAST watching the ballgame under the lights of the queen city skyline. This was a memory we'll both remember forever.
