The entire hotel stay was excellent! The Front Desk Representatives, Lakesha and Gabbie were very helpful...awesome customer service, politeness and patience. They went above and beyond to be sure we had what we needed during our stay. The room: the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. The valet was great as well. The food at The Golden Owl Tavern was very good. The atmosphere overall/in general was lovely! We will definitely book here again, should we have to be in Charlotte again!

The hotel is clean, modern, and buzzing with guests and a very friendly vibe. My room is immaculate and updated. The bathroom is spacious and efficient. The shower is pure heaven. While the food in the on-site restaurant is sorely lacking, the customer service team is second to none. The courtesies they extended were above and beyond and all offered with grace, generosity, and heart, especially by Ms. Tameka -- Thank you! I highly recommend UNC Charlotte Marriott.

Clean and modern. That's it. No room service. Coffee maker didn't work in our room. Restaurant had great food but very slow service. Starbucks coffee on the restaurant menu. They did not want to make it. Told us available in the Marriott club (you wont get your lattes here) No shuttle transportation to the airport. Went to Starbucks Cafe behind front desk at 6a. Closed and no one to be found. Went back to the room where my husband called front desk to ask when it opened. She said AROUND 6:30a. He asked so no set time? She said usually around 6:30a but sometimes later. Where is the management to this place?

I can't attest to the quality of the rooms - I was just hosting an event here - but Danielle, Reggie, and Michael Thornton took incredible care of our group. There was an issue with the room orientation when we arrived, and even though it was 5:00 a.m., Reggie fixed it immediately (with the assistance of a very helpful security guard, Brian Bethea, who deserves a shout-out). The level of service was outstanding, and I would highly recommend hosting an event here.

This hotel was the worst experience I ever had at a Marriott hotel and as a Marriott Bonvoy member. My wife and I stayed from 11/23 to11/27/22. The restaurant was understaffed, the cooks were arguing with each other, and my wife and I waited 50 minutes for avocado toast, which was sloppily made so we got up and left. They had valet parking which was a joke. You could not find the employee because he was sitting in a vehicle on his cellphone and on my last night I waited 20 minutes in the front of the hotel, and when I called the hotel, the front desk employee seemed disturbed that I called looking for the valet employee. When that employee came down to the front door, I asked him where he had been, and he said he thought I was a delivery person. My wife and I looked forward to this trip after we lost our daughter in August, and this hotel was a huge disappointment. On two occasions they did not refresh our room with clean towels or empty the trash cans. I have attempted to reach out to the hotel management, and they have not responded. I have attached photos of our unrefreshed room.
